Is Billr free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 3 invoices and 3 quotes per month, 1 project, and time tracking. No credit card, no trial period. It's free for as long as you want. Upgrade to Pro when your business grows.

How do online payments work?

Connect your Stripe account in Settings. Every invoice you send includes a 'Pay Now' button. Your client taps it and pays by card, and Stripe pays the money out to your bank account on its usual schedule.

Can I customize my invoices?

Absolutely. Add your logo, pick your colors, choose from four templates and three font sizes, and set your own invoice number prefix. Numbers count up automatically, and you can change the number on any invoice.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, and it works offline too. Create invoices, track time, and manage clients without an internet connection. Everything syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Can I use different currencies?

Billr supports 60 currencies. You pick one currency for your business, and set your own tax label (VAT, GST, BTW…) and rate.

What if I need help?

Open the Help Center inside the app. Our AI assistant answers most questions instantly. For anything else, submit a support ticket and we'll get back to you.

Can clients sign a quote online?

Yes. You send the quote as a link with a 6-digit PIN. Your client opens it, then signs and accepts it online, or declines. An accepted quote becomes an invoice with one tap. The Free plan includes 3 quotes per month.
